Transformed in 8 months!
All her life Daniela has struggled with gaining weight, strength and having enough energy for her work and studies. Plenty of people would comment saying you look great, but she didn't feel great and she was never confident in her body as she was always weak and tired.
This before and after picture has taken over 8 months to achieve so it has taken her a little while to get the results she wanted. Main reason for this was because she wasn't consistent as she found the gym intimidating. So Daniela found comfort in DIYPT because we gave her, her own equipment so she could do the workouts in the comfort of her home.

Lost 13 kgs in 12 weeks
It’s very special to hear when a member expresses how proud they are of what they have achieved... so take it away Ivy:
“I’m so proud to say that I have comfortably lost two dress sizes, and I’ve lost 13kgs since I started the program in February.
With this, my eating habits and how I look at food have changed for life. I know I’m fitter and stronger, both mentally and physically. My outlook on life has never been at its highest and I’m not the only one benefiting, my family are too.
However, the biggest achievement I have gained since starting the program is accountability. This may sound stupid but truly accepting and understanding my part of the process was hard. I was (and at times still am) a walking book full of excuses. I have no time or I’m so tired because I work full time, have three kids, scrapping through to keep a household running or I have to help with my husband’s business. And yes the list goes on.
But in the end, I took a step back and thought to myself, you’re full of shit. I know I can make time for exercise, so stop bullshitting and make the time”.
We are so proud of you Ivy because we know you’ve created new healthy habits for you and your family forever!
<10% body fat in 13 weeks
Sze did very well on our program as you can see from the photo.
He learned a lot about nutrition and what foods and strategies work well for him.
The main takeaway for him was tracking his macronutrients. He found it very simple and logical to do and found a way to fit the method into his busy lifestyle of running his own business as well as having a wife and two kids.
Amazing work Sze, if you keep it up I believe you can compete in your first physique competition!
Lost 15kgs and doubled his strength
Alex joined DYPT to help him lose weight and improve his posture as he was involved in a car crash that gave him neck pain.
In a year, Alex has lost over 15 kgs, increased his strength by over 50% in each of the main lifts squat, deadlift and overhead press.
And as you can see from his picture, he has improved his posture dramatically. Great work Alex.
Lost 5% body fat
Kim was never a fan of Personal Trainers because the last time she hired a PT for her wedding, she was pushed too hard. She dreaded it.
And then all excuses came up like "I don't have time", "It's too hard", "I'm not motivated enough". Then she came across us. She thought our offering was very unique. An online program suited for working parents which included your own set of exercise equipment, a nutrition program, the ability to do sessions in person and online (ideal during home isolation) and an empowering community.
Lost 13kg and total of 20cm of fat
My client Liz has had a tough journey with her fitness goal. She came to me early March this year with a lot of fear and anxiety because she has battled body confidence issues from a very young age and has had bad experiences with not only training in a gym but a very bad experience with training with a Personal Trainer.
Her weight in the first month kept fluctuating because she has some health issues that were conflicting with our strategies, namely a major car accident in 2000.
Furthermore, she struggled to implement some of my suggestions into her eating; we bumped heads a few times on different ideas I recommended; and she had a number of injuries and sicknesses that we overcame. Every 2 weeks we reassessed how Liz was going and if it wasn't going to plan, we talked about it, learned from it and did better the next time. When you don't give up, you can't fail.
Since March she lost an amazing 13kg. And in a span of 4 months she lost 7.1cm off her waist, 3.4cm off her hips, 5cm off her thighs and 2.5cms off her arms. Most importantly, she is more confident in her body and in herself and is loving the online format of our program.
Lost total of 15cms of fat
Krystal’s story unfortunately is a common one. She was a victim of bullying when she was at school which has tainted her self esteem and confidence.
But like many others, she has used it to fuel her drive and motivation to achieve amazing results in 12 weeks.
If you remember she was our April transformation of the month where she achieved good results in a short period of time. After 12 weeks she has managed to lose:
- 6.6cm off her waist
- 6.1cm off her hips
- 2.3cm off her chest.
She has also gotten stronger and fitter and finished 12th out of 65 dancers in her last ever solo dance performance, where she was the oldest of all dancers with the average age being 15 y/o.
I’m soooo proud of you Krystal. I love your commitment and dedication to your health and fitness.
You are an amazing role model to young women everywhere.
Smashed the Pandemic Puff
Carl started with DIYPT when the COVID-19 lockdown hit Sydney and we all had to stay at home. Which meant I did my DIYPYT sessions via Zoom online.
Carl was unsure about the online platform but he gave it a shot.
He was surprised at how well they went and loved the convenience of not having to travel.
Carl initially had some poor movement mechanics which caused him shoulder, neck and knee pain. However, with his commitment and hard work he became one of our top members, challenging himself with the more difficult movements and increasing the resistance load.
Carl is a man of a few words but what he says here will touch us forever "Thank you for all your guidance, encouragement and enthusiasm. It's a joy to be part of the DIYPYT family".
Pain free and lost 6kgs
After having my babies, I noticed my body started to change. At times it felt like a broken doll- I discovered I had some serious health complications especially to do with my hip and that news shattered me. I started to feel down. My body was stiffening up and I was barely 40!
That’s when I decided to join DIYPT to receive more guidance from a fitness and nutrition point of view.
To be honest, I was hesitant in the beginning as I was worried I would cause more harm to my existing injuries but Jono and Trinh had my back right from the start and they gave me so much support. I really felt, with their support and my family’s support, I could do this.
They adapted the program for me, and what I loved was that I received regular phone check ins to see how I was doing.
I have put in the hard work- doing 2 group sessions every week including following the DIYPT program at home with my cool gym kit. It has given me the results I wanted.
I started the program during the Covid saga, 12 weeks down the track I lost 6Kg! YAY!
Those extra kilos has helped settle my hip and has strengthened that area. I am feeling fabulous at 40!
I have also loved incorporating the macro diet and really value the importance of portion control and self care.
I love being active now and being a great model to my family. The biggest game changer for me is, keeping up with my boys and husband. And the icing on the cake was fitting back into my corporate dresses and frocks with a new found confidence! I have to say that absolutely rocks!
Lost 7.5kgs and total of 22cms of fat
Full-time working mother, Jonelle, smashed her first 13 week program. She lost:
- 7.5 kgs
- 11cm off hips
- 7cm off waist
- 4cm off chest
- Dropped resting heart rate by 20 beats per minute.
But she’s not done yet. This legend is going to start semester 2 of her DIYPT program this week with the goal of losing another 10kgs.
Ran her first 5km race w/out stopping
I had no doubt that we would see Adela in one of these transformations of the month because she is the type of person who dedicates herself to any challenge given to her.
She is so positive and determined that she was one of the key members who motivated and pushed other members in their fitness journey. This is what ultimately earned her the transformation of the month.
Adela lost 4.4kg, 8cm off her waist and 8cm off her hips. However, her biggest achievement was to be able to run 5km without stopping, where she had never ran more than 1km previously in her life.
Well done Adela, keep it up!

So proud of Lisa for achieving amazing results despite injuring herself (injury unrelated to our program and classes) and having 2 weeks off to recover.

1.9cm around her arms and;
