Two things you need to know


Membership commences on the same day you complete the online registration and payment form (the next screen). Your DIYPT exercise equipment will be delivered to you within one week from your commencement date from one of our friendly staff members. If you reside outside of Sydney or interstate, it’s usually within the week as well, however delivery will be made by Australia Post so the delivery time may vary.


The first week of your program is Orientation. As mentioned above, you should receive your DIYPT equipment sometime this week. The exercise and food plan doesn’t start in this week.

Orientation Week involves 3 tasks each day for the first 6 days to help you prepare for the next 12 weeks. Such tasks include:

  • A fitness test to determine the level of difficulty of the program you’ll be on.
  • Measurements. To know where you want to be, you need to know where you began.
  • Questionnaires to help you reflect on your current kitchen environment and your social support group.
  • Get familiar with the fundamental exercises you’ll be doing in the program and information on how to read the exercise programs for each day as there is a lot of jargon in the health and fitness industry.
